Hotel Funivia - Laveno-Mombello

The view from the cable car and hotel is very nice. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace while taking in the fine scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the man working at the cafe who went out of his way to ensure we caught our train.

Fabulous view over the lake. There was a funicular station not far away. Location was quite fantastic. Stay in this hotel if you wish to explore lago maggiore.

The hotel lacks modern amenities like Wi-Fi and phone reception, which could be an issue for some guests.

The location of this hotel was breathtaking! We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony with a view of the mountains. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The cable car ride to get to the hotel was an adventure and it was easy to get the hang of it. We also appreciated the complimentary unlimited passes.

The bathroom could use a modern update. We found it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the lack of soundproofing, as we were able to hear our neighbors.
